Servicing and Calibration

All air-conditioning service machines require yearly servicing and calibration in line with the manufacturer's requirements. 

It is important that these machines are accurate and in good working order. 

We will automatically contact you each year after you have purchased a machine or annually once you have received a service from us.

Machine servicing includes:

  • Service Filter

It is important that the service filter is changed yearly or as per the manufacturer's requirements. The service filter catches debris and dries the refrigerant before it is stored inside the machine. This filtering stops contaminated refrigerant from entering the vehicle being charged. Contaminated refrigerant can have expensive consequences.

  • Vacuum Pump Oil

Using a high quality vacuum pump oil prevents premature failure of the vacuum pump and ensures a deep vacuum is achieved and boils off any moisture inside the vehicle's air-conditioning system. During servicing we change this oil to make sure that it is at the correct level. The vacuum pump is then tested to ensure that it is achieving a deep vacuum in line with the manufacturer's requirements. 

  • Scale Calibration

All conditioning systems are designed to operate on a specific weight of refrigerant. We calibrate all the scales to be within the manufacturer's specifications. This is so that the air-conditioning system has the right amount of refrigerant to operate correctly, and is not under- or over-charged. Too little refrigerant can cause problems with poor cooling performance and too much refrigerant can potentially cause component failure.

  • Safety Check

The safety checks we offer are designed to protect the operator and the business from avoidable accidents or malfunctions, which can be due to wear and tear or component failure. We can spot many common problems early and rectify them before they escalate.

  • Planned Service Agreements

If you want to manage risk or plan ahead we offer planned service agreements. This takes all of the headache out of getting your air-conditioning machines serviced and calibrated.
